I use this oil everyday twice a day. My hair is softer, shinier, more resistant to humidity/cold, and easier to style. I am an African American and I usually wear my hair straightened (flat iron not chemically). I have also noticed less split ends. The fact that this stuff is so cheap is amazing to me. I only use a small amount in each application, a pea size application each time, but it really does wonders. Is it essentially petroleum with a bit of coconut, probably. Does it work for me, definitely. Don;t use too much though, the potential greasey factor is high if you do!
