I heard good things about this product so I ordered it for my mom for mother's day. She never used it so I decided to test it out for myself. I started using it June 20 and by June 30th, I had about 1/4 in growth and in some places 1/2 in. I wanted to keep using it for 4 weeks (July 18th) to see if I can get a whole inch in a month. On July 5th, I noticed a few spots in my hair with almost an inch of growth and it's not even 1 month yet!! I'm going to definitely keep using this for a while. For anyone thinking of trying this, here's what I did:
-I applied the oil on my scalp everyday! You don't have to do this but I really wanted to see what would happen. You can also use the oil every other day
-The oil says to massage after applying, I massaged for a few mins because I'm lazy but I still got some growth
-I am African and have relaxed hair, while using this oil, I wash my hair about twice a week (if you use this oil often, you need to keep you scalp clean or you can just cause buildup.)
-I keep my hair up to reduce breakage and I deep condition once a week.
I did notice shedding while using this product but that is normal with any hair growth oil. It means hair is getting pushed out of the follicle at a faster rate so that stronger hair can grow in that follicle. You can find more info about that on google. I recommend this to any one with any hair type but especially with African/African-American hair that want to grow their hair longer. It helps with dry scalp as well if anyone likes to apply oil to their scalp.
